Carol

Hi everyone,

This is Elisha, Carol's oldest daughter. As many of you know, she has had significant health complications over the past 9 months. She had a major stroke in Oct 2022 and during her recovery, fell, hurt her spine, and was paralyzed from the neck down. She is currently at Craig Hospital and doctors tell us she will need another 18 months (or more) of therapy, hospital visits, and care before we will know what her new baseline/life will look like. We have been finding as many resources as possible and visiting every day, but we are getting tired are finally asking for financial help.

My sister quit her full-time job to care for Mom, but with Mom in and out of the hospital and at various rehabs, we are unable to make ends meet as a result.

If you choose to, your donation will help maintain the household and cover medical supplies that are not covered by insurance (e.g. athletic tape for her shoulders, etc.). Your donation will give us the break we need to keep our stamina as we now know we cannot come up for air for at least another 18 mos. We are dedicated to her recovery but could use a shoulder to lean on.
