AVID Overnight College Field Trip 2024

Our AVID students have college dreams. Those dreams grow stronger with every campus tour we take.

AVID stands for Advanced Via Individual Determination, a system at our high school designed to prepare student for 4 year college eligibility. These students are highly motivated and desire to go to college, but may not be realizing their full potential. Many are the first in their family to attend college, or may be from groups historically underrepresented on college campuses. With your help and support we can take these amazing students out of the city to explore what college has to offer!

Last year we were able to take over 40 amazing, college-bound students to CSU Monterey Bay, Cal Poly Pomona, and UC Santa Cruz thanks to YOUR generosity!
