Avila Children Education Fund

If you were lucky enough to know David Avila, you know there was nothing he loved more than his soulmate Patricia Avila, his beautiful children Carina, Andrew, and Erica and their continued love of learning through a college education. David valued education and loved learning. He and Pati together have instilled such a love in their children. 

David’s family faces immeasurable heartache and is currently faced with many unanticipated expenses as they are struggling to deal with the sudden loss of their father and husband. In lieu of flowers, we are asking for donations to put towards an education fund for the three children who are all in college to the GoFundMe account listed here.  Carina is a Senior at UC Davis; Andrew is a Junior at UCLA; and Erica is a freshman at Riverside City College. 

David made endless sacrifices to continuously put his family first and his larger than life presence will be missed everyday going forward. One of his greatest joys was seeing his children satisfied and successful in their college careers. This fund will help ensure their continued education towards their Bachelor Degrees.

The family is overwhelmed and so appreciative and thankful for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support that has been showered on them during this difficult time. Your kind words, thoughts, prayers, and kindness have carried them when they thought they could not go on. There are no words to describe how much you each mean to the family.
