Avoiding homelessness with two dogs

I am an 80 year old man with two dogs on the verge of being homeless February 1st.  I am the former owner of Vern's Taxi in Sonoma. I worked very diligently to make Vern's the best taxi service possible, and to provide efficient and friendly service to the members of my community.

I previously had a roommate who shared the rent payment with me, but they have moved out and I can no longer afford to live in my current residence with only my social security income. I have lung cancer which is currently in remission and numerous other chronic health conditions.  Due to my medical problems, I can no longer afford to earn a living. I currently am being treated for a lung infection, which I cannot afford the medication for, as it costs $400 per refill.

I have two dogs, a seven year old Labrador named Krysto and a 3 year old pit bull named Palo. They both depend on me and are very happy living together and with me. They are my companions.

I currently live on $900 a month social security, and would use this money to find new living arrangements and catch up on my bills. I would be eternally grateful for any donations I receive.
