Help Children See Black Panther

Help children in Columbus see the "Black Panther" movie. Hello everyone, My name is Karl Powell known as DJ Carl Collins to many. I reside in the Columbus, Ohio area and here's my story. I was so inspired by the story of Fredrick Joseph. I thought I could do something  for a few of our children in Columbus, Ohio to see this unprecedented movie. To let them see themselves reflected on the big screen in an positive way when so much these days portrays the negative side of people of color.  Once the goal is made, 20 primary school students who are the most improved overall will be chosen from a local area school of predominately African American students. Boys and Girls Club of Ohio will be the secondary. They will receive a ticket plus funds for refreshments to a showing date after opening day on the 16th.  The remaining funds will be allocated for chaperones and transportation if possible. Any overage will be donated to the local Boys and Girls Club of Columbus or to another charity that works with children. 100% of funds will go to this endeavor. Funds will be allocated in the following way: 20 Students @ 30 each = $600 10 Chaperones or parents @ 30 each = $300 $300 bus for transportation Total $1200 Once funding is complete payment to the theatre of choice and bus company will be made by cashier's check and receipts posted to my Facebook page @CarlCollins86 Again, any and all overages will be donated to the Boys and Girls Club of Columbus or to another charity that works with children This gofundme will go through February 15th.
