AWAH, ADAM KODA funerals expenses...

It is with a broken heart that the Association of Beninese of Illinois shares the news of the passing of our sister AWAH ADAM KODA. She passed away on Wednesday July 26, 2023, at the age of 59 after battling a long illness. Awah was a lovely person, vibrant, adventurous, strong, caring, kind, and had a positive personality that always made one smile. Awah leaves behind her daughter, Fulgencia, who needs more than just our thoughts and prayers.

Awah’s medical expenses, due to her illness, has depleted her finances leaving her daughter the burden of funeral expenses. Now many of you in our community have asked how you can help during this difficult time; we ask that you consider donating to Awah’s funeral funds. Any donation size is helpful as we try to give sister Awah Koda the simple yet beautiful funeral she deserves.
