Update: We lost Linda to her battle to cancer on the morning of Sunday May 21 surrounded by her loving daughters. RIP beautiful Linda

Hello everyone my name is Conor Sketchley and I’m here to ask for your support in helping out my good friend Nikki and her sisters Josie and Karly in raising funds to help their mom Linda through these next stages of Linda’s battle with cancer and her end of life wishes. For those of you unaware, on March 26 Linda was rushed to the Foothills Hospital and diagnosed with terminal cancer in numerous parts of her body. After brain surgery on March 28 to remove a tumour in her brain, Linda’s diagnosis kept getting longer with each test bringing more bad news. Since the surgery to remove the tumour, Linda has been in the hospital, the doctors tried to manage her pain levels from the surgery and painful cancer symptoms.

After one bout of radiation, Linda had been moved to Rosedale Hospice in Calgary, where she passed away surrounded by her loving daughters.

Linda is remembered as an amazing mother, daughter, sister and friend. Those of you that know Linda and her beautiful daughters know how much they support each other and if we could offer even the smallest amount of support to help them through this very difficult time, I know it would mean the world to them. Nikki, Josie and Karly have been going back and forth to the Foothills and now Rosedale every day to spend as much time as possible with their mom.
