Awesome Ukrainian's Relocating to Raleigh!

We have had the great privilege of being connected with and hosting a wonderful Ukrainian Family! Nata and her 13-year-old son, Yegor, are amazing people who unfortunately sustained significant losses during the war. Their home was bombed as well as Nata’s business.

Nata is an entrepreneur, so we feel a particular loss for her as we can’t imagine losing our home and our livelihood in such a short time.

Nata and Yegor successfully immigrated to the US this July and relocated into our home as they got settled into the Raleigh life and Yegor started school.  We are committed to providing housing for a year, and a fantastic apartment, right around the corner, has been found (by my excellent cousin Charity!) and now it's time for the next step: furnishing it!

As you can imagine, Nata and Yegor lost everything in the bombing and started over from scratch. We have created an Amazon Registry with what we think are essential items to create a home. 

I know many of you don’t know Nata and Yegor, but if you have wanted to help in Ukrainian relief - this is an opportunity to directly support and truly love on a family starting over after losing everything.

Moving is hard. Moving countries after losing everything is even harder. If you are willing to donate, this will help tremendously in the many months to come as Nata and Yegor continue to get settled, rebuild their lives, and incur the many new expenses that are certain to arise.
