Charter a bus for the visually impaired to cross country ski

Ski for Light is an all-volunteer non-profit organization that provides a fun, adventurous, and safe experience by pairing blind or mobility-impaired skiers with trained sighted guides to learn, improve and experience the exhilarating sport of cross-country skiing. Ski for Light is an international organization with a regional Ski for Light chapter in the Pacific Northwest. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life and independence of visually impaired or mobility impaired adults through a program of cross‐country skiing.
In 2025, our regional chapter, Puget Sound Ski for Light, is organizing six Saturday day trips during January, February and March from Seattle via chartered bus to Snoqualmie Pass, Washington, where we ski on the Erling Stordahl trail system. Ski trails are groomed side by side allowing both the skier and guide to have their own nordic ski tracks. The guide provides verbal information about the trail, whether it is straight, turning to left or right, going up or downhill.
We need funds for the upcoming 2025 ski season to support our skiers and get them up to the mountains and out cross-country skiing! Chartered bus expenses continue to rise with the increasing cost of fuel. We sincerely thank everyone willing to provide financial support to assist us with this mission.
