We have a very Small immediate family it's just my kids and I period.

It occured on Sunday 01/07 /24 I. Crown heights

377 Montgomery & Nostrand Ave where they live .

I wanted to wait till my grandson's birthday past on 01/09/24 to post this devastating life event that occurred .

My son and his family lost completely everything this past Sunday to a fire in their home . My son is beyond devastated during the fire my grandson went into hiding he was scared my son could not find him he yelled his name out for dear life until finally my grandson called Daddy my son was in the middle of the fire the smoke inhaling all that smoke . The thought of losing them both of them . Zion keeps reminding my son dad your my hero you saved me dad . My son is beyond devastated the vision in his head doesn't go away. They were with me until today. Red Cross placed them in a hotel in downtown Brooklyn until Monday the 15th . We are not really sure what's going to happen after. Red tape and just waiting a waiting game They are holding up In the mean time they are in need of clothing , food and funds

No one ever thinks something like this to happen unexpectedly. To top it off my son got laid off Monday. I've been so emotional holding it together for them . I wasn't going to do a Gofundme because they are not asking for much just a little something to get them by the next month until further notice. Any penny, nickel or dime is appreciated

I'm not one to ever ask anything of anyone

If you know me you know I'm not the one to ask for help from anyone ever not my thing

But for my children I'll go above and beyond especially my grandson ❣️

We are very aware that so many other people are going through there own hardship.

We are grateful that they are alive and well . They after to adjust to the discomfort of being moved around so be it
