From being a french-american born into an oppressive korean religious cult,
to becoming a lawyer with an ivy league law degree,
to leaving it all behind on a transformational adventure of - spiritual awakening, nomad life, devastating heartbreak, living on a shoestring budget, indigenous ayahuasca and peyote ceremonies, working in hippie communities, and eventually becoming a singer, musician, and plant medicine ceremonialist.
From living in a tent in the Arizona desert learning how to receive guidance on the wind,
to disappearing into the Amazon jungle to sit in dieta with the Shipibo indigenous tribe,
to being tested by a maestro shaman in Thailand,
to experiencing heartbreak and disillusionments,
and finally reclaiming her own powerful gifts.
Ayala (born Genevieve) shares her story of growing up in a deep internal darkness of fear, trauma, debilitating anxiety, and self-misery, then making her way to “success” in normative culture (law degree, government job, fiance, house, two dogs), realizing she is still living in inner misery, then leaving everything behind to go on an incredible journey, through her humbling deep dark night of the soul, across the world and back again, and eventually bursting into the light, manifesting her heart’s wildest dreams.
Ayala is now a traveling singer, ceremonialist, and podcaster, leading events and retreats with the love of her life, her partner Jade.
Beginning at the start of her awakening journey, with flashbacks to the healing of her past and hints at the evolution of her future.
This is a story of -
grace,
heartbreak,
earth angels,
synchronicity,
divine guidance,
massive leaps of faith,
cultivating gratitude,
learning integrity,
transformation,
adventure,
spirit,
love,
and at the core of it all…
remembering how precious and sacred this life truly is.

Hi loves, Ayala here. This book has been asked for and wanting to be birthed through me for quite some time. It took me some time, but I am finally feeling ready to share my story with you. And I'd like to ask for your support.
After consulting the traditional book publishing route, I’ve decided to self-publish this story to maintain its truth and the message it’s meant to convey. If my story has moved you in any way, or you wish to read my story when it’s published, or you just feel the call in your heart to support me, I am accepting donations for the writing/editing/publishing of my memoir.
I have arrived where I am today with the support of not only my own heart and the universe, but also the support of earth angels that have showed up on my path in divinely synchronistic moments. If you feel called to support me now, you are one of those earth angels. And I thank you from the innermost core of my heart.

Risks / Likelihood of Success:
There are low risks to this fundraising campaign, which has a very high likelihood of success, because Ayala has already written a book (available on Amazon Kindle), so is familiar with the time and effort it takes to complete a book. She also is highly invested in this particular book because it is her personal memoir.
And the promise of the finished copy of the book to donors does not depend on an outside publisher accepting the project or any other outside entity determining any level of success, since she has decided to self-publish, so there are no gatekeeping requirements to get through for you to receive the book!
