Ayanna Maertens Memorial Fund
Donation protected
As most of you know my name is Kassie and today is a very sad day for many that knew Ayanna (my niece). At 2:51 am on Saturday February 8th, 2020 Ayanna Maertens, was found deceased, she went to heaven to be with her sister Staisha. We are asking for funds to help cover her funeral. As this was completely unexpected, no one was ready to deal with such a tragedy.
Ayanna, was very loving and an extremely intelligent child who was a HUGE Goofball! She always had a smile on her face. She was studying Computer Engineering and was already in her second year of college at the young age of 18. Her whole future was ahead of her. I can go on and on about how great of a kid she was.
I write to you all today to please help lay this angel to rest. No parent should ever have to bury their child. Needless to say this is extremely rough on both of her parents who also lost Ayanna's twin sister 18 years ago. We ask that you donate whatever you can, even if it's only $1. Every little bit counts.
Love your family. Spend time & be kind to one another. Make no room for regrets. Tomorrow is not promised and today is short. Ayanna, we love you with all of our hearts and know you are in God's loving arms.
God bless the mother who has lost a part of herself now. Her child is gone and yet she knows she must go on some how. She'll never be who she once was, before her child was taken. And some days she can't help but feel her heart was forsaken. They say you give the hardest tasks to those you know are strong. But her task is so painful, Lord...it's one that lasts a long time. Please help her rise each time she falls, give courage for her fears. Have angels hover ever near to dry her endless tears. Keep her close, within your arms each moment they're apart. Please give her comfort while she grieves...God. Soothe her aching heart.
We will always love and miss you Ayanna, and keep memories of you in our hearts.
