Ayantu Tolesa Kidney Transplant fund

Our sister and friend Ayantu Tolessa is extremely sick, she is currently in the hospital undergoing medical treatment since October of 2021. Ayantu was born in Aira, Wollega, she is the daughter of the beloved and respected Reverend Tolessa Hunde who spent all of his life fully pledged to serving God and his community without reservation. Like her dad, Ayantu has a passion for serving in the church and more so on the ground as an OR Technician and a registered nurse for the past 24 years. Ayantu is know for her commitment and self-less public service at Aira General Hospital; she showed love, compassion and care to all that crossed her path. 

In a sudden turn of events, Ayantu was diagnosed with Chronic Renal Disease and end stage Renal failure where she is now totally dependent on Hemodialysis. To live out her full years, the doctor has recommended a kidney

transplant. Unfortunately, the kidney transplant is a very expensive procedure that is not available in Ethiopia. 

Ayantu’s family have been financially supporting her dialysis treatment and the financial burden has reached a limit beyond their capacity to provide. As a father, mother, sister or brother nothing is more difficult and gut wrenching than watching your loved one die due to not having the financial means to cover medical expenses. We are asking for you to stand with the family financially and prayerfully to help extend our sister’s life by supporting her kidney transplant fund abroad. Every little bit helps!
