Your dollars will go to directly supporting ART YARD BKLYN (AYB) Advanced Studio free art making classes open to people of all ages.
Sign up for classes through our website every Sunday at 5pm.
Funding will support AYB Advanced Studio, free programs open to the public in which we explore timely, thought-provoking, and challenging ideas.
Looking at artists’ intent, working methods, material use, or radical innovations, AYB Advanced Studio fosters open dialogue as a catalyst for learning. Our theme this year is Literacy, we explore with our theme, creating work in all media. Participants are encouraged to respond to ideas and art-making methods in a personal fashion, using their own artistic voice.
Classes are open to the public on a first-come-first-serve basis posted live on our website Sundays at 5pm! Sessions will take place on Tuesdays from 6-8pm in-person in the AYB studio at BWAC in Red Hook, Brooklyn and on occasional field trips to galleries, museums and studios, and Mondays from 5:30-7:30pm on zoom.
