Ayman Khaled’s Plea: Help Us Rebuild and Survive

Before you read my story, I ask you with all my heart: please, even the smallest donation can help save my family and the lives of our children.

My name is Ayman Khaled, and my family and I are living a nightmare that seems endless. It has been a year since the war, and we have lost everything. We were displaced more than seven times, moving from one area to another, leaving behind all that we owned. Each move was filled with fear, and I narrowly escaped death more than once.

The most devastating moment came on January 24, 2024, at 2:00 PM, when the building we were sheltering in—a school—was directly targeted. The blast injured me and many members of my family. I suffered a severe foot injury that led to tendon fragmentation. Since then, I have undergone several operations, but my foot remains in critical condition. I urgently need further treatment to prevent my health from deteriorating further.

My family is now homeless, left with nothing but the clothes on our backs. We once had a beautiful house, and I was a university student studying engineering. My father managed a restaurant on the beach, and we lived a peaceful life full of hope and dreams. Now, everything has been taken from us.

We live in a damaged tent that barely shields us from the cold rain of winter. Each day is a struggle for survival. Even basic necessities like food and warm clothes feel like unattainable luxuries because we have no income.

I have attached photos that show the extent of our suffering—pictures of what our lives were like before this tragedy, and the heartbreaking reality we face now.

I write to you not just as a father or a son, but as someone desperately seeking compassion and support to help my family survive.
