Aysun's Family in Turkey need our help.

Aysun is an educator at GreythornECC whose family lost their homes in the recent Turkish Earthquake.

Aysun's family lived in Osmaniye and Adana.

One sisters' (Fusun) apartment is collapsing and will need to be demolished - no one is allowed inside, so she is relying on family accommodation to house her, her husband and her two children. Another sister (Faray) is currently living in a tent due to extreme damage to her apartment. Faray has her husband, a 6 year old and a 14 year old with her.

a third sister (Figen) and her mum cannot return to their homes and are staying with other family - they consist of her husband and a 14 and 21 year old.

Her brother (Ismail) cannot stay in his apartment - apparently anything higher than the first floor isn't considered safe to remain in at this stage. He has with him a wife and a 16 and 23 year old.

The average temperature at the moment is minus 1.

Her uncle and his wife lived on the fourth floor of an apartment building that collapsed - their bodies were found two days later.

They experience constant aftershocks and are living in fear of a repeat. The Government is telling them to expect aftershocks for at least a year.

Obviously, Aysun feels helpless, so we have helped her set up a GoFundMe for her so she can assist her family members directly.

Funds will be transferred directly to Aysun's family members in Turkey for them to use for items that they need while they are homeless.
