La Asociación Valenciana de Empresas de Música ha puesto a disposición una cuenta bancaria para recaudar donaciones, destinadas a la recuperación del tejido musical valenciano en las zonas afectadas por la DANA.

Como es sabido, la mayoría de escuelas y empresas del sector musical desempeñan su actividad en plantas bajas y locales a pie de calle, gravemente dañados en los pasados días a causa de los efectos del temporal en diversos municipios de la provincia de Valencia. Inundaciones en locales, desperfectos en instalaciones, así como incontables pérdidas de instrumentos y material, constituyen un duro golpe a un sector, ya de por sí castigado por la precariedad y la escasez de recursos.

Ante esta situación, la Asociación Valenciana de Empresas de Música (ASVEM) ha abierto una cuenta bancaria para crear un fondo común que centralice aportaciones para paliar los efectos de la dramática situación que afronta la industria musical valenciana.

La iniciativa arranca con 1.000€ de la propia asociación y espera que en lo sucesivo se sumen otras ayudas provenientes de su junta directiva, particulares, entidades, ayuntamientos, asociaciones, empresas y simpatizantes del mundo musical.

Mediante una cuenta de Caixa Popular y una campaña mediante Gofundme, ASVEM distribuirá las aportaciones entre los afectados, por orden de prioridad: escuelas de música, asociaciones sin ánimo de lucro, autónomos y PYMES (en función del número de empleados).

Asimismo, se pone a disposición de las entidades y empresas afectadas el mismo correo de la asociación para que comuniquen el reporte detallado de daños, así como la relación de las necesidades más urgentes, a fin de canalizar los fondos del modo más justo y eficiente.

Desde ASVEM, queremos agradecer profundamente a todos los miembros del sector musical y a quienes han mostrado su solidaridad en este momento crítico. Todo apoyo es esencial para ayudar a nuestras comunidades musicales a superar esta difícil situación y apoyar a nuestros amigos en las zonas afectadas. As it is known, the majority of music schools and companies in the music sector carry out their activities in the first floors and street level premises, these have been severely damaged in recent days due to the effects of the storm in various municipalities in the province of Valencia. Floods, damage to facilities, as well as countless losses of instruments and material, are a serious blow to a sector already punished by the precariousness and scarcity of resources.

Faced with this situation , the Valencian Association for Musical Entities (ASVEM) has opened a bank account to create a common fund to centralize contributions to alleviate the effects of the dramatic situation facing the Valencian music industry.

The initiative starts with 1,000€ from the association itself and hopes that other contributions from its board of directors, individuals, organizations ,municipalities, associations, companies and supporters of the music world will join.

Through an account at Caixa Popular and a Gofundme campaign, ASVEM will distribute the contributions among those affected, in order of priority: music schools, non-profit organizations, self- employed artists and SMBs (Small and Medium sized Businesses).

The email address of the association is made available to the affected entities and companies so they may communicate their case with a detailed report of damages, as well as their list of most urgent needs, in order to channel the funds in the fairest and most efficient way.

From ASVEM, we would like to deeply thank all the members of the music sector and those who have shown their solidarity in this critical time. Any support is essential to help our musical communities conquer this difficult situation and support our friends in the affected areas. We appreciate every contribution, big or small, that will help rebuild the Valencian musical sector.
