Diana y Luis, son una familia colombiana, con 3 niños de 14, 8 y 3 años, que por razones a la violencia colombiana, se vieron en la necesidad de salir del país, vender todo, dejar a toda su familia , para llegar a EE.UU e iniciar una vida nueva llena de esperanzas y objetivos.
Diana and Luis are a Colombian family, with 3 children of 14, 8 and 3 years old, who for reasons of the violence in Colombian, they were forced to leave the country, to sale everything and leave their family behind, to reach America and start a new life full of hopes and goals.
Ellos llevan 5 años viviendo en Orlando, se encuentran bajo un proceso de asilo, y por razones ajenas a ellos y a la mala voluntad de personas inescrupulosas y que actúan de mala fe, se han visto en dificultades económicas por sociedades de negocios equivocas, sin embargo, con empeño, dedicación, profesionalismo y buena fe han logrado superar dichos obstáculos.
They have been living in Orlando for 5 years, they are under an asylum process, and for reasons beyond their control and the ill will of unscrupulous people, who act in bad faith, they have found themselves in financial difficulties due to wrong business done, however, with determination, dedication, professionalism and good faith, they have managed to overcome these obstacles.
Sin embargo, dado a la pandemia, se han visto muy limitados, ya que negocios como el Trencito de Transporte en zonas de turismo o de alto movimiento y el Trailer de Venta de Raspados, están totalmente parados , también han trabajado como empleados de Servicio de Buffet (Banquet Server) dentro del Centro de Convenciones (Orlando Convention Center) el cual cerró sus puertas desde el mes de Marzo hasta la fecha, ocasionando que Diana y Luis no tuviesen el ingreso que venían generando en su momento para sostener la calidad de vida digna que tenían como familia emprendora y de principios que son.
However, due to the pandemic, they have been very limited, since businesses such as the Transportation little train in tourist or high-traffic areas and a very typical ice scraping snack sale Trailer, which are totally closed down; they have also worked as Banquet Server employees within the Convention Center (Orlando Convention Center) which closed its doors since March to date, causing Diana and Luis to not have the income that they had been generating at the time to sustain their normal life quality as a warm and beautiful family.
Luis se ha visto en la obligación de trabajar en diferentes actividades, entre ellas la de Uber Eat, Amazon, etc., y Diana en la realización de postres y comidas desde su casa, en razón a que debe por la misma pandemia debe cuidar de sus hijos quienes están estudiando de manera virtual LaunchED.
Luis has been forced to work in different activities, including Uber Eat, Amazon, etc., and Diana in making desserts and meals from her home, because she must take care of their children who are studying online due to the pandemic.
Ellos han solicitado las ayudas que el gobierno ha ofrecido por la situación de la pandemia, pero algunas les han sido negadas por no ser residentes permanentes y/o ciudadanos. A la fecha adeudan $4.508,72, y requieren cubrir este valor o parte de este valor antes del 21 de diciembre de 2020, de lo contrario serán desalojados el 1 de enero de 2021; aun sabiendo que hay niños de por medio.
They have requested the aid that the government has offered for the pandemic, but some have been denied for not being permanent residents and / or citizens. To date they owe $ 4,508.72, and they need to cover this amount or part of this amount before December 21, 2020, otherwise they will be evicted on January 1, 2021; even knowing that there are children involved.
Esto no solo es preocupante para esta linda familia, sino que a su vez un proceso de desalojo (Eviction) les afectaría su proceso de asilo y por las razones personales del mismo, ellos no pueden regresar a Colombia por ningún motivo por seguridad de cada uno de ellos.
This is not only worrying for this beautiful family, but in turn an eviction process (Eviction) would affect their asylum process and for obvious reasons, they cannot return to Colombia for the safety of each one of them.
