Hola a todos. Estamos recaudando fondos para nuestro papá , hace 10 años le diagnosticaron pancreatitis pero se complicó tanto que tuvo que pasar por 4 cirugias en 6 días fue algo muy doloroso para él y para toda la familia. Le tuvieron que cortar 1 metro de intestino porque lo tenia perforado. Pudo sobresalir y seguir siendo el sostén de la familia, se superó, pudo salir poco a poco adelante, financieramente no se pudo recuperar al 100% porque tuvo que dejar de trabajar varios años y derivado a su inactividad y su edad ya casi nadie lo quiso contratar pero fue capaz de luchar contra ese mal momento de su vida.
Hoy, 10 años después volvió a recaer de lo mismo, le quitaron 80cms de intestino porque estaba pegado con el abdomen y tiene que estar en el hospital mínimo 10 días más, el doctor dice que para poder nutrirse necesita 2mts como mínimo y a el ya solo le quedan 2.5mts.
Estamos recaudando los fondos porque la medicina y la alimentación parenteral (alimentación por la vena) es muy elevado en costos, además de eso necesita que le coloquen una malla para cerrar el abdomen ya que los músculos están retraídos a causa de la primera cirugía, actualmente su abdomen se encuentra abierto porque aún no es posible cerrarlo hasta determinar sí las grapas que le pusieron para unir el intestino tienen éxito.
También le hicieron otros exámenes, tiene bronconeumonía y unas sombras en el higado que todavía no tienen certeza de que sea, Excepto decirnos que pueden ser tumores benignos o cancerosos.
Sin embargo el quiere recuperarse, quiere seguir luchando por su vida y quiere seguir trabajando. Esta es la razón por la cual estamos recaudando los fondos.

He was able to recover and continue to be the breadwinner for the family, he overcame this and was able to get ahead little by little, financially he could not recover 100% because he had to stop working for several years. Due to his inactivity and his age almost nobody wanted to hire him anymore but he was able to fight against that very difficult period in life.
Today, 10 years later, he relapsed again, they had to remove another 2.5 ft of his small intestine because it had adhered to his abdominal cavity. He has to be in the hospital for at least 10 more days.
The doctor says that to be able to obtain nutrition, he needs at least 6.5 ft of small intestine, as of now he’s being left with only 8 feet.
We are raising the funds because medicine and parenteral nutrition (feeding through a vein) are very expensive. In addition, he needs a mesh to close her abdominal cavity since the muscles are retracted due to the first surgery.
Currently his abdominal cavity needs to remain open, exposing his intestines until it is confirmed that the staples used during surgery were successful in helping the small intestine join itself together.
They also did other labs, and he has bronchopneumonia and some spots in his liver that they are still not sure what they are except telling us they could be lacerations or tumors with both benign and cancerous possibilities. Dad wants to recover, he wants to continue fighting for his life and he wants to continue working. He needs out help more than ever and combined we are unable to provide for all that he needs.
