Request for Collaboration for my Urgent Surgery

Hello, my name is Yria Mendez. I am 78 years old and Venezuelan. I live in Venezuela and come from a family of seven siblings. I have no children, but I have always had the support of my family, who have been a great pillar in my life. However, I now find myself in a difficult situation and feel the need to ask for your help.

I was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor located in the right cerebellar hemisphere, the brain stem, and, to a lesser extent, in the fourth ventricle. This condition is severely affecting my motor functions and overall quality of life. My symptoms are becoming increasingly difficult to manage—I struggle to walk, often feel disoriented, and experience memory problems. Additionally, I am unable to exert myself physically, and unfortunately, my condition is worsening over time, affecting other parts of my body.

Doctors have informed me that I urgently need surgery to remove the tumor and prevent it from progressing further. However, the cost of the operation is quite high, and neither my family nor I have the necessary resources to finance it. That is why I am reaching out to you, hoping for your generosity and support to help me raise the funds needed for this crucial surgery that could improve my health and well-being.

I understand that times are difficult for everyone, but every contribution, no matter how small, makes a difference. Any support you can offer will be a significant step toward my recovery. Solicitud de Colaboración para mi Cirugía Urgente

Hola, mi nombre es Yria Méndez, tengo 78 años y soy venezolana. Vivo en Venezuela, y soy parte de una familia que se compone de 7 hermanos. No tengo hijos, pero siempre he contado con el apoyo de mi familia, quienes han sido un gran pilar en mi vida. Sin embargo, hoy me encuentro en una situación difícil y me veo en la necesidad de pedir su ayuda.

Hace poco tiempo me diagnosticaron un tumor cerebral, el cual está ubicado en el hemisferio cerebeloso derecho, el tallo cerebral y, en menor proporción, en el IV ventrículo. Esta condición está afectando gravemente mis funciones motrices y mi calidad de vida. Los síntomas que estoy experimentando son cada vez más difíciles de manejar. Me cuesta mucho caminar, a menudo me siento desorientada y tengo problemas de memoria. Además, no puedo realizar esfuerzos físicos y, lamentablemente, conforme pasa el tiempo, la situación va empeorando y afecta otras partes de mi cuerpo.

Los médicos han indicado que necesito someterme a una cirugía urgente para extirpar el tumor y evitar que siga avanzando. El costo de la operación es bastante elevado, y tanto mi familia como yo no contamos con los recursos necesarios para poder financiarla. Es por eso que recurro a su generosidad y apoyo, con la esperanza de que me ayuden a reunir los fondos necesarios para poder realizar este procedimiento quirúrgico tan importante para mi salud y bienestar.

Sé que la situación es difícil para todos, pero cada granito de arena cuenta. Cualquier aporte, por pequeño que sea, será un gran paso hacia mi recuperación.
