Mikaella Urrutia medical expenses.

Hello my name is Andrea Enriquez. Unfortunately, I have to address you in need of help; my collection is because my daughter Mikaella Urrutia was attacked by our Traya.

Traya is a dog that we rescued a month and a half ago from an adoption center in New York, without knowing much about her background our intention as a family was always to give her a home and fill her with love.

Everything was going well until Monday, April 11th, at around 2 pm, I received a video call while I was at work; it was my daughter Mikaella with her little face full of blood and a terrified look on her face. Traya had attacked her, disfiguring her lip, with wounds from her nose to her mouth. We had to call the emergency services, and she was rushed to the hospital, where she underwent surgery that lasted 2 hours 45 minutes, rescuing part of the lip with 130 stitches to reconstruct it.

We are waiting for her recovery to define a possible second surgery because she would need a graft in the center of the lip where part of the skin was torn off.

Unfortunately, we do not have health insurance in this country where we live (the United States) because the state health insurance was denied and paying a private insurance is very expensive, and we do not have the possibility to afford it. So that is why I am paying for the hospital and doctor's fees on my own.

As many of you know medicine in this country is very expensive and the cost of this emergency is $50,000 plus the emotional value we have all suffered after seeing our princess go through this horrible situation and the pain of saying goodbye to Traya when we saw that animal control was taking her back to the adoption center.

Hola mi nombre es Andrea Enriquez. Desafortunadamente tengo que dirigirme a ustedes con necesidad de ayuda, mi recaudacion es porque mi hija Mikaella Urrutia fue atacada por nuestra Traya. Traya es una perra que rescatamos hace un mes y medio de un centro de adopcion en New York, sin saber mucho de sus antecedentes nuestra intencion como familia siempre fue darle un hogar y llenarla de amor,. Todo marchaba bien hasta que el lunes 11 de abril al rededor de las 2 de la tarde recibi una video llamada mientras estaba en el trabajo, era mi hija Mikaella con su carita llena de sangre y su mirada aterrada. Traya le habia atacado desfigurando su labio, con heridas desde la nariz hasta la boca. Tuvimos que llamar a emergencias y fue llevada de urgencia al hospital,, donde fue intervenida en una cirugia que duro 2 horas 45 minutos, rescatando parte del labio con 130 puntos de sutura para poder reconstruirlo. Estamos a la espera de su recuperacion para definir una posible segunda cirugia porque necesitaria de un injerto en el centro del labio donde le fue arrancada una parte de piel. Lamentablemente nosotros no contamos con seguro de salud en este pais donde vivimos (Estados Unidos) porque el seguro de salud del estado nos fue negado y pagar un seguro privado es muy caro y no tenemos las posibilidades de pagarlo, por eso corro con los gastos de hospital y honorarios del doctor por mi cuenta. Como muchos saben la medicina en este pais es muy cara y el valor de esta emergencia es de $50.000 mas el valor emocional que todos hemos sufrido tras ver a nuestra princesa pasar por esta horrible situacion y el dolor de despedirnos de Traya al ver que control animal se la llevaba de vuelta al centro de adopcion. Contando con su ayuda y oraciones para que mi princesa tenga una recuperacion exitosa y vuelva a sonreirnos como antes, les agradezco de antemano.
