¡Hola a todos!

Mi nombre es Victor, soy Venezolano y quiero compartir mi historia contigo. Soy gimnasta olímpico y atleta de alto rendimiento. El año pasado, enfrenté una lesión devastadora en mi rodilla derecha que amenazó mis sueños y aspiraciones. A pesar de las dificultades, seguí compitiendo para apoyar a mi equipo, pero ahora necesito tu ayuda para recuperarme y volver a mi deporte que tanto amo.

Mi Trayectoria: En el Campeonato Panamericano de gimnasia en Río de Janeiro 2022 (Brasil), sufrí una lesión grave en mi rodilla: ruptura total del ligamento cruzado anterior, ruptura del menisco externo e interno, distensión del ligamento colateral externo e interno y una fractura en el platillo tibial. A pesar del dolor y la inestabilidad en mi rodilla, competí para asegurar la clasificación de mi equipo a los Juegos Centroamericanos y del Caribe en San Salvador 2023 (El Salvador).

Después de una cirugía y un arduo proceso de recuperación, me preparé para competir este año; lamentablemente, la cirugía no funcionó. Después de los Juegos Centroamericanos y del Caribe, me sometí a una resonancia magnética para luego verme con un especialista, ya que a pesar de llevar varios meses de recuperación, aún no sentía muy bien mi rodilla. Esto resultó ser cierto. El especialista, al examinarme y revisar la resonancia magnética, me dijo que hubo problemas en la primera cirugía. Debido a esto, ahora necesito realizarme una segunda cirugía en mi rodilla derecha de manera urgente para evitar seguir causando más daño interno y poder recuperar mi movilidad, estabilidad y fuerza.

Mi Sueño Olímpico: Mi objetivo es clasificar para los Juegos Olímpicos de Los Ángeles 2028. Cada día es crucial para mi recuperación y preparación. Cuanto antes pueda someterme a la cirugía, más tiempo tendré para volver en mi mejor forma física - mental y enfrentar el ciclo olímpico con determinación.

Este es todo el presupuesto de los gastos de mi cirugía:

Tarifa del hospital y el quirófano: AUD 11,201.00

English: HELP ME TO HAVE SURGERY AND FULFI MY OLYMPIC DREAM.

Hello everyone!

My name is Victor, I am Venezuelan, and I want to share my story with you. I'm an Olympic gymnast and high-performance athlete. Last year, I faced a devastating injury on my right knee that threatened my dreams and aspirations. Despite the challenges, I continued to compete to support my team, but now I need your help to recover and get back to the sport I love so much.

My Journey: At the Pan American Gymnastics Championship in Rio de Janeiro 2022 (Brazil), I suffered a serious knee injury: complete tear of the anterior cruciate ligament, tear of the external and internal meniscus, strain of the external and internal collateral ligaments, and a fracture in the tibial plateau. Despite the pain and instability in my knee, I competed to secure my team's qualification for the Central American and Caribbean Games in San Salvador 2023 (El Salvador).

After surgery and a challenging recovery process, I prepared myself to compete this year. Unfortunately, the surgery didn't go as planned. After the Central American and Caribbean Games, I underwent an MRI and then consulted a specialist. Despite several months of recovery, I still didn't feel my knee was in good condition. This turned out to be true. The specialist, upon examining me and reviewing the MRI, informed me that there were issues with the initial surgery. Because of this, I now urgently need to undergo a second surgery on my right knee to prevent further internal damage and regain my mobility, stability, and strength.

My Olympic Dream: My goal is to qualify for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. Every day is crucial for my recovery and preparation. The sooner I can undergo surgery, the more time I'll have to come back in my best physical and mental form and face the Olympic cycle with determination.
