Help me save my family's life in Gaza

Hello, my name is Lamia Hassan, I have been living in Barcelona, Spain for 12 years with my husband and children.

We left Gaza in search of a safe and stable life, and we have already found it, The rest of my family remains in Gaza. Despite the difficult, very difficult day-to-day life there, they had illusions for a better future until the bombings. That illusion gave them the strength to move forward. But with this devastation, they have lost everything, and the only thing left for them to do is flee to at least preserve their lives because as long as there is life, there is hope.

In this terrible war, we lost my brother's wife and three children, my cousin, our friends, our neighbors, and many of our relatives and friends. Those who did not die have suffered severe and very serious injuries either amputations or blindness or permanent disabilities, I do not want to wait to see one of my family members in one of these terrible cases.

Now under the terrible conditions of the ongoing horrible genocide in Gaza I feel a great responsibility to evacuate my sisters and their children to preserve their lives and dreams from the bombings, the destruction and inevitable death, if not from the bombings, from hunger, thirst or disease due to lack of medicine.

I hereby appeal to your compassionate and humane hearts to contribute to financially helping my family to leave Gaza for Egypt and remain there temporarily until the end of this genocide.

The priority for me was my parents, and I contacted the Spanish consulate to evacuate them from Gaza as soon as possible due to my mother's very poor health conditions. She suffers from diabetes and due to the lack of medicine, she needs insulin needles, which are hard to come by now in Gaza, so unfortunately, their condition is getting worse every day.

Now I wait for her to leave through the Spanish embassy, free of cost to the Egyptian crossing from Rafah. Unfortunately, my sisters are not covered by the embassy's evacuation procedures, so I urgently need a sum of money of at least 50,000 euros to evacuate my two sisters with their eight children and their husbands.

For all of these reasons, I thank you with all my heart for your solidarity with the families of Gaza and especially with mine. I will never forget your help. It is crucial to save my family from the horror they are experiencing. Thank you, and thank you a thousand times over.
