Mi nombre es Diva Sofía De Lima, soy una joven venezolana, aguerrida, trabajadora, familiar y dispuesta siempre a brindar una mano amiga a todo aquel que recurre a mi. A mis 41 años de edad la vida me dio una sacudida al ser diagnosticada con un Cáncer de Mama, bastante agresivo y con metástasis en ganglios linfáticos, diagnóstico que sin duda me hizo temblar, y más cuando pienso en el futuro de mis 2 hijos de apenas 11 años de vida, futuro en el cual deseo y tengo la firme convicción de estar para guiar sus pasos.

¿Como comenzó todo?

En septiembre del año 2022 visité a diversos especialistas, quienes coincidieron en el diagnóstico: Adenocarcinoma de Mama Derecha en estadio IIIB, luminal B, Her 2 positivo. Ante este panorama, se propuso hacer un ciclo de 6 sesiones de quimioterapia de tipo TCHP con Docetaxel, Carboplatino, Trastuzumab, Pertuzumab cada 21 días; luego del tercer ciclo se realizó evaluación de respuesta por imágenes para precisar evolución de la enfermedad, procedimiento que se repitió una vez finalizado el sexto ciclo de quimioterapia y posteriormente se concretó la cirugía de mastectomia radical bilateral con remoción de ganglios linfáticos.

¿Que falta ahora?

Una vez realizada la cirugía y ya habiendo cumplido satisfactoriamente el postoperatorio,

se decide iniciar tratamiento de quimioterapia nuevamente con anticuerpos monoclonales (Trastuzumab y Pertuzumab) por un año, y radioterapia, tratamientos por los cuales decido apelar al buen corazon de ustedes para que me ayuden a finalizar con éxito esta dura batalla y finalmente decir ¡VENCÍ AL CÁNCER!

Dado el alto costo de la vida en el país y lo inalcanzable que se vuelve la adquisición de todo el tratamiento para una persona en Venezuela, en unión de mis familiares y amigos más cercanos hemos decidido iniciar esta campaña, en la cual solicitamos la ayuda de todos aquellos que tengan la posibilidad de brindar un granito de arena en esta lucha que pretende ayudarme a recobrar la salud que necesito para continuar en el camino de la vida y acompañar a mis hijos en la misma.

Lamentablemente, no dispongo del monto de dinero neceario para continuar con todo el tratamiento, ya que todo lo recaudado anteriormente entre familiares, se ha consumido entre el pimer ciclo de quimioterapia, la cirugía, exámenes diagnósticos, consultas, traslados a la ciudad de Caracas, etc.

My name is Diva Sofía De Lima. I am a young Venezuelan, determined, hardworking, family-oriented, and always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who turns to me. At the age of 41, life shook me when I was diagnosed with an aggressive breast cancer with metastasis in lymph nodes, a diagnosis that undoubtedly made me tremble, especially when I think about the future of my 2 children, who are only 11 years old. I wish and firmly believe that I will be there to guide their steps.

How did it all begin?

In September 2022, I visited various specialists who concurred on the diagnosis: Stage IIIB Right Breast Adenocarcinoma, Luminal B, Her 2 positive. Faced with this situation, it was proposed to undergo a cycle of 6 sessions of TCHP chemotherapy with Docetaxel, Carboplatin, Trastuzumab, Pertuzumab every 21 days. After the third cycle, an evaluation of response through imaging was carried out to determine the disease's progression. This procedure was repeated once the sixth cycle of chemotherapy was completed, and then I underwent radical bilateral mastectomy surgery with the removal of lymph nodes.

What is left now?

After the surgery and having successfully completed the postoperative period, it was decided to initiate chemotherapy treatment again with monoclonal antibodies (Trastuzumab and Pertuzumab) for one year, as well as radiation therapy. For these treatments, I am appealing to your kind hearts to help me successfully complete this tough battle and finally say, "I BEAT CANCER!"

Given the high cost of living in the country and the unattainability of acquiring the entire treatment for an individual in Venezuela, together with my closest family and friends, we have decided to start this campaign. We are requesting the assistance of all those who have the means to contribute a grain of sand in this fight to help me regain the health I need to continue on the path of life and support my children on the same journey.

Unfortunately, I do not have the necessary funds to continue with the entire treatment, as everything collected previously among family members has been depleted by the first cycle of chemotherapy, surgery, diagnostic tests, consultations, trips to the city of Caracas, and more.
