Ayúdame a vencer mi batalla contra el cáncer
Hola mi nombre es Esther Coromoto Manzanare de Alvarez, tengo 62 años de edad, soy venezolana con muchas ganas de vivir y de ver a mis nietos crecer.
En diciembre de 2019, comencé a sentir dificultad para respirar, a medida que pasaban los días mi respiración era cada vez menor, acudí al medico neumonologo quien diagnosticó edema pulmonar, procediendo así a retirar el líquido de mis pulmones mediante una punción extrayendo 1.8 litros de liquido de mi pulmón derecho, quedando aún más por extraer, a partir de este momento el médico tratante sugirió realizar una tomografía pélvico abdominal con contraste para evaluar la procedencia de la producción del líquido. En dicha tomografía se observa claramente tumor en riñón izquierdo y múltiples lesiones nodulares en pulmones derechos e izquierdo. Por este motivo, requiero con URGENCIA una NEFRECTOMÍA RADICAL para extraer el tumor principal y evitar la expansión de células malignas a otros órganos, y poder así comenzar tratamiento de quimioterapias.
Como parte del proceso pre-operatorio se debía extraer el restante del líquido que se encontraba en mi pulmón por medio de un drenaje torácico, ya que para poder entrar a cirugía mis pulmones deben estar totalmente limpios, siendo dicha intervención muy costosa en hospitales privado, fue aquí donde acudi al Hospital Militar de Barquisimeto por ser este un hospital gratuito, donde realizaron el procedimiento en 3 oportunidades y ninguna de ellas logró ser exitosa. Por esta razón, y por la premura de esta intervención, gracias a la ayuda de algunos familiares se logró realizar en una clínica privada.
Esta operación de Nefrectomía Radical es bastante delicada, y donde se realice la operación debe contar con la Unidad de Cuidados Intensiva ( UCI ) y el Anticanceroso de Barquisimeto no cuenta con dicha unidad, y lamentablemente los hospitales en Venezuela carecen, de medicamentos, personal y los equipos suficientes para una operación de esta magnitud. Es por esto que acudo a ustedes, a través de esta campaña, con el fin de recaudar fondos, ya que la intervención es muy costosa y delicada. Requiero del apoyo para cubrir los gastos administrativos, por esta razón pido cualquier colaboración que puedan ofrecer para lograr el objetivo y seguir una vida normal junto a mis familiares y amigos. Desde ya gracias y deseo que se multiplique en bendiciones y abundancia.

Hello there, my name is Esther Coromoto Manzanare de Alvarez, 62 years old and I'm from Venezuela. I wish to live and see my grandkids grow up.
On December of 2019 I started having difficulty breathing and as the days went by my breathing was getting shorter and shorter. I went to a pulmonologist who diagnosed me with pulmonary edema whereas I had to get my right lung punctured so that 1.8 liters of liquid could be extracted. From that moment the attending physician suggested performing an abdominal pelvic tomography to assess the origin of the liquid. This tomography clearly showed a tumor in the left kidney and multiple nodular lesions in the right and left lungs. For this reason, I urgently require a RADICAL NEFRECTOMY to remove the main tumor and prevent the expansion of malignant cells to other organs and thus being able to start chemotherapeutic treatment.
As part of the pre-operative process, the rest of the fluid that was in my lung had to be extracted through a thoracic drainage since, in order to go into surgery, my lungs must be totally clean. Said intervention being very expensive in private Hospitals, it was here that I went to the Barquisimeto Military Hospital because it was a free hospital where the procedure had been performed 3 times but none of them managed to be successful. For this reason, because of the urgency of this intervention and thanks to the help of some relatives, it was possible to perform in a private clinic.
This Radical Nephrectomy is quite delicate it must be performed under the care of the Intensive Care Unit (UCI for its syllables in Spanish) and the Barquisimeto Anticancer branch has no such unit. Unfortunately, the hospitals in Venezuela lack the medications, personnel and sufficient equipment for an operation of this magnitude. That's why I come to you, through this campaign, in order to raise funds, since the intervention is very delicate and expensive. I need the support to cover administrative expenses, for this reason, I ask for any collaboration they can offer to achieve the goal and continue a normal life with my family and friends.
