AYUDEMOS A LUSSIO A LUCHAR CONTRA EL CÁNCER

Hola, soy Paola Escalona y soy prima de lussio, hemos hecho esta recaudación de fondos para ayudarlo a pagar sus gastos médicos recibidos hasta ahora y su tratamiento posterior (quimioterapia).  lussio y su familia se encuentran en chile y  no pudieron abrir la cuenta de GoFundMe desde allá  por eso estoy ayudándolos abriendo esta cuenta para después enviarles los fondos recaudados a la cuenta personal de la mamá de lussio. De antemano gracias por su ayuda. Aquí lussio les cuenta su historia.

Mi nombre es Lussio Andrés Díaz Montiel, tengo 9 años, y el día 14 de febrero de

2022, fui diagnosticado con LEUCEMIA LINFOBLASTICA AGUDA. Este tipo de

cáncer es uno de los más frecuentes en niños, y ocurre cuando el cuerpo genera

demasiados linfocitos (un tipo de glóbulo blanco), pudiendo afectar a dos tipos

distintos de linfocitos: las células B y las células T, en mi caso afecto las células T.

A partir de esa fecha mi vida ha dado un giro enorme, 19 DÍAS EN CUIDADOS

INTENSIVOS debido a presentar HIPERLEUCOCITOSIS DE 560.000 QUE

REQUIERE MANEJO CON RECAMBIO SANGUINEO Y LEUCOFÉRESIS, MIS

PULMONES SE LLENAN DE LÍQUIDOS, TAMBIÉN ME COLOCAN UNA

SONDA PARA PODER ORINAR Y SOY INTUBADO PARA MANEJAR MEJOR

MI SITUACIÓN QUE PARA ESE MOMENTO ERA BASTANTE DELICADA, así

como las numerosas HOSPITALIZACIONES, QUIMIOTERAPIAS, EXÁMENES

y TRANSFUSIONES a las que estoy constantemente sometido.

Todo este proceso ha sido bastante duro, y los gastos se han incrementado, ya

que esta enfermedad y tratamiento es muy costoso, amerita de mucho cuidado,

quimioterapias, exámenes diarios, transfusiones, estudios de imágenes,

resonancias, y medicamentos. Por esta razón acudimos a esta plataforma de

GOFUNDME y a personas de buen corazón que estoy seguro podrán brindarme

su apoyo y mano amiga para seguir adelante con mi tratamiento que dura 2 años

sino se presenta ninguna complicación y que esto apenas comienza.

Here the lussio’s history 

My name is Lussio Andrés Díaz Montiel, I am 9 years old, and on February 14, 2022, I

was diagnosed with ACUTE LYMPHOBLASTIC LEUKEMIA. This type of cancer is one of

the most common in children and occurs when the body generates too many lymphocytes

(a type of white blood cell) and can affect two different types of lymphocytes:

B cells and Tcells, in my case the T cells.

From that date my life has taken a huge turn, 19 DAYS IN INTENSIVE CARE due to

presenting HYPERLEUKOCYTOSIS OF 560,000 WHICH REQUIRES MANAGEMENT

WITH BLOOD EXCHANGE AND LEUKOPHERESIS. INTUBATED TO BETTER MANAGE

MY SITUATION, WHICH WAS VERY DELICATE AT THAT TIME, as well as the

numerous HOSPITALIZATIONS, CHEMOTHERAPIES, EXAMS and TRANSFUSIONS to

which I am constantly subjected.

This whole process has been quite hard, and expenses have increased, since this disease

and treatment is very expensive, it requires a lot of care, chemotherapies, daily exams,

transfusions, imaging studies, resonances, and medications. For this reason, we turn to

this GOFUNDME platform and to people with good hearts who I am sure will give me their

support and a helping hand to continue with my treatment that lasts 2 years if no

complications arise and this is just beginning.
