Ayudemos a Nuestro Querido Pedro Miguel Gamez

Pedro Miguel es un profesor de arte venezolano de 66 años de edad, dedicado a trabajar con jóvenes bachilleres y universitarios para desarrollar futuros profesionales y talentos artísticos. Después de mas de 36 años, Pedro sigue dedicando su vida a la docencia pública, siempre teniendo en cuenta el compromiso con sus estudiantes y el amor a su profesión.

A nivel más personal, Pedro Miguel es un hombre de familia. Tiene una esposa de 33 años de casados, dos hijos, un nieto de 1 año de edad, y una perrita llamada Linda.

Hace un mes, Pedro fué diagnosticado con un tipo de cáncer en la sangre llamado Tricoleucemia. Éste tipo de cáncer ataca los glóbulos blancos y plaquetas del cuerpo, dejando a quien lo padece completamente vulnerable a cualquier virus o enfermedad al que sean expuestos. Al igual que algunos otros tipos de cáncer, si la Tricoleucemia no es tratada con tiempo, sus efectos pueden ser irreversibles.

Pedro Miguel is a 66 year-old art professor in Venezuela dedicated to work with high school and college students to help them develop their skills and expertise in the art fields. After working as professor for public schools for over 36 years, Pedro is still devoted to his work and his students. 

On a more personal level, Pedro Miguel has been married for over 33 years, is a father of two, has a one year-old grandchild, and is the owner of a little dog named Linda (which means pretty in Spanish).

A month ago, Pedro was diagnosed with a cancer found in his blood called Tricoleucemia. This type of cancer attacks white blood cells and platelets in the blood leaving the individual who suffers from it completely vulnerable to any virus or illness they're exposed to. Like other forms of cancer, if not treated as soon as possible, Tricoleucemia is mortal.

Today we ask for your help to support Pedro and allow him to have a proper treatment and save his life. The entirety of the donations to this fundraiser will be destined to finance medical tests, chemotherapy treatments and medicine Pedro needs to fight this illness.
