Our family is desperately needing a miracle in the form of a bone marrow transplant for my 16-year-old sister-in-law Mariela del Rocio Hernández Corrales. She has already beaten leukemia twice in an ongoing battle with the disease for several years. Due to the stress on her body from the repeated chemotherapy our doctor says at this point a bone marrow transplant is our best hope for saving her precious life.
The transplant is urgent as she does not have much time left, and if we try to go through insurance to help cover the costs we will be put on a waiting list and Mariela simply does not have enough time. Our only choice is to pay out of pocket for an immediate procedure – our family is doing everything we can to fight for Mariela; if you can find it in your heart and finances to donate for her transplant we would be beyond grateful for your kindness. They are asking for $165,000 USD or 3.5 million in MXN pesos for the transplant.

Nuestra familia necesita desesperadamente un milagro en forma de trasplante de médula ósea para mi cuñada Mariela del Rocio Hernández Corrales, de 16 años. Ya ha vencido a la leucemia dos veces en una batalla en curso contra la enfermedad durante varios años. Debido al estrés en su cuerpo por la quimioterapia repetida, nuestro médico dice que en este momento un trasplante de médula ósea es nuestra mejor esperanza para salvar su preciosa vida.
El trasplante es urgente ya que no le queda mucho tiempo, y si intentamos pasar por el seguro para ayudar a cubrir los costos, nos pondrán en una lista de espera y Mariela simplemente no tiene tiempo suficiente. Nuestra única opción es pagar de nuestro bolsillo por un procedimiento inmediato: nuestra familia está haciendo todo lo posible para luchar por Mariela; Si puede encontrarlo en su corazón y en sus finanzas para donar para su trasplante, estaremos más que agradecidos por su amabilidad. Están pidiendo $ 165,000 USD o 3.5 millones de pesos mexicanos para el trasplante.
