Azaraya has dedicated countless hours to her craft, demonstrating an unwavering commitment and passion for gymnastics from a young age. For those who have watched her grow up in the gym, we've seen her spend the past 10 years tumbling, flying and leaping for hours on end. Her hard work has not gone unnoticed. As a senior athlete Azaraya has been selected by the Canadian Gymnastics Program for international assignments—a significant milestone in her gymnastics journey. This month she must travel overseas to compete. These trips are self-funded.
Like many aspiring athletes, Azaraya faces financial barriers that threaten to impede her progress. The costs associated with training, travel, competition fees, specialized coaching and rehabilitative services quickly add up, placing a significant strain on her resources and limiting her ability to fully pursue her athletic aspirations.
That's why we're launching this GoFundMe campaign—to rally support from our family , friends and community and provide Azaraya with the financial assistance she needs to work towards that cause.
Our goal is to raise $21,000, which will cover her competitions abroad and other expenses associated with her training and competition commitments for the upcoming year.
