Fundraiser for the Abdullah Azeez Arif Family

Hello, my name is Carrie Yates. I’m the EL teacher at Rutherford Elementary. Recently, two of my students lost their father to a senseless act of violence. Please read and if you feel moved to donate, I thank you for your generosity.

A Stillwater Pony family is mourning the tragic loss of the patriarch in their family. Abdullah Arif lost his life on February 17 during an armed robbery at his place of employment in Saint Paul. He was the sole provider to his wife and four children, all of whom attend Stillwater schools. The family needs immediate financial support to help alleviate some of the burdens they are experiencing and will face in the future. Stillwater, MN has such an incredibly generous community that wraps their arms around those in need. I know this sweet, humble family truly appreciates any help that is given.
