My Afghan Interpreter assistance
Don protégé
Thank you for checking in on our Afghan interpreter assistance page. Let me take a minute of your time to tell you about my Afghanistan interpreter Azizi, AKA 'Carlos'. I was stationed in Khost Province in Eastern Afghanistan for 2 years working as an Embedded Police Mentor with the United States Army. Our Mission was to train Police Officers in Khost Province which is an extremely dangerous area.
Carlos and our Military units worked and lived at the local police districts under the harshest conditions. Carlos had the difficult task of translating for our team at the highest level while speaking to U.S. and Afghan Commanders at our Military base and the Provincial Headquarters. Carlos is an excellent translator who risked his life so that the U.S. Military could successfully carry out their mission. Carlos worked under 4 different Military Units and was instrumental in helping train hundreds of Police Officers.
It is because of Carlos's work at the Command level that Carlos and his family where targeted as the U.S Military moved out of Khost Province. Carlos and his family where recently granted a Special Immigrant Visa to move to the United States and will be arriving soon.
Carlos plans to continue his studies in Physical Therapy while providing for his
young family. We now have a awesome opportunity to help someone who risked his life so that all of us remain free.
Please find it in your heart to help Carlos and his family and show them that Americans help those who help us. The money you donate will help Carlos with financial stability and get him off to a new life in America. Money for food, rent and utilities are essentail as we all know.
No amount of support is to small and I thank each and everyone of you who have taken the time to let me tell you about my friend, Carlos.
forever grateful
