Help the Torres Family

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Tabitha. I am a wife and mother of 3. I am not one to ask for help, I am the one who offers the help. But, now at this time in my life I am needing help. This is really hard for me to ask for this kind of help.

My husband, father of our 3 children, hard worker, and the most selfless person I know had to return to Mexico to meet with the US Consulate to interview for permanent residency. In which he was denied December 1, 2022. He is a good person and is just trying to be here to provide for us, and do the right thing. Because of this, now my family has been pulled apart, I am struggling to keep up with monthly expenses and try to ensure my husband has money to survive in Mexico, where we did not expect him to have to stay. Our 5yr son Jayse, ask me daily "Why is Mexico keeping my daddy?" It is hard to explain that the US immigration and Consulate are denying him to come home.
I am really trying to find a house that is more affordable for my income right now. I am not able to save money as we are living check to check, barely having enough to cover all of the bills and food.
For now we are alone. I have rent I can not afford, with a car payment I can not afford, and bills I am trying to keep up with on my own, because I do not have my best friend and partner with me to help.
With the help I have recieved this far I have been able to get our children Christmas gifts. I have been able to pay bills that were behind, and save some for rent in January. I will still have to pay more to the lawyer to file paperwork to get my husband home.

Our 17 yr old son, Devyn is working part time, is in highschool fulltime and tries to help when he can. Which is a burden he should not have to bare. And our 5yr old son doesn't understand really what is going on.

In August 2020, my husband and I found out that our daughter, Maya 13 at the time was very sick. She was hospitalized for a few weeks, during that time we found out that she has an autoimmune disease in her liver. (Autoimmune Hepatitis aka liver disease) She will need a transplant at some point in time as her liver will not last her lifetime. She is now 15, takes many medications and is doing ok for the circumstance.

I am asking please help me and my children to raise enough money to pay rent, save for a deposit on a new home that I can afford, and get my husband home.

Sincerely,
Tabitha Torres and family.
