Azucar: A Latine Cabaret Experience

My name is Latina K Turner D’Ho, creator of Azucar: A Latine Cabaret Experience. Azucar is the first all-Latine Burlesque revue show in Olympia, WA; originally dubbed "A Celebration of Latin & Hispanic Heritage" and produced under Perlita Picante Entertainment, this labor of love saw its debut in 2018 at the historic Capitol Theater. The show’s mission is to showcase Latine voices through performance art; we are celebrating the diversity of our cultures and we invite you to be a part of this one-of-a-kind celebration on September 16, 2023, during Hispanic Heritage Month at The Crypt Olympia.

As with most events in our most immediate industry, Azucar faced a forced hiatus during the pandemic. As such, we are starting from the ground up and we need help from our community to have a successful return. Here is the part where I ask for your financial support: My goal is very modest; your donations will help pay for venue rental, compensation for performers, professional photography and videography, backstage snacks and beverages, and show crew. Your support is critical to the success of this event. Any surplus will be used towards subsequent editions of Azucar.
