Lauren Reddick - Victim of Drive By Shooting
Donation protected
One of our own from Providence Medical Center needs our help. Stancie Reddick’s daughter and granddaughter’s life was forever changed a week ago.
Lauren Reddick, age 11, was in her bedroom getting ready for school when the sound of gunfire was heard outside her home. Living on the corner of a busy street, her life forever changed when two cars, shooting at each other, caught Lauren in the crossfire. Lauren was hit by gunfire twice; one bullet hit her spine and she is now paralyzed from the waste down. The other bullet broke ribs which caused a need for a chest tube to drain blood from her lungs.
Her mom ran to the room to find her beautiful daughter laying on her bedroom floor gravely injured. She just celebrated her 11th birthday on October 22.
Lauren’s mom Lakesha is needing to relocate her family to a new home where Lauren and her two siblings could be safe and live at peace in their own home. They are needing assistance with Lauren’s medical expenses and moving expenses to a safer location.
