Manchitas

So…

Yesterday I was very excited as I thought that my new dancing partner would arrive at my yard.. but you can understand the moment Manchitas walked off the trailer my heart broke in too a thousand pieces..

The horse that I though I had bought was nothing left of and the poor boy screamed his last energy out to say hello to the other horses.. after he dropped himself to the floor and could not get up anymore. Tired .. exhausted.. but maybe he felt he was finally in the right place where we would take care of him? I don’t know, anyway.. we called the vet for an emergency appointment cause this couldn’t be right… I’ve seen a lot but a horse that just gives up and doesn’t fight anymore I have never..

Colic, several infections, dehydrated, not fed for a long time, skin problems , parasites and the list will go on and on.. on his skin you can see he has been on the floor for a long time.. to sad to even talk about

Vet did his amazing job… we monitored him the whole night and this morning he got finally up… enough energy again to fight an other day in his life ..

I am so angry.. how can you… how could you get this over your own heart. But this fight is on. Manchitas will not leave this stable, he will not go back…. We do hope the old owner is not to stupid and helps us cover at least some of the vet bills that we have and we will get later on… but for how it sounds like now I don’t think they will…

Let the sun shine today for Manchitas.. that he was strong enough this morning to fight a new day.. a new day is what it is indeed.. everything will be different from now on buddy. Trust me
