As hard that this is I will tell you my son's story.
The worst pain a mother can feel is the inability to take away her child suffering. In July my son was rushed to the hospital with abdominal pain and non stop vomiting. After being in the ER and blood work was ran they immediately noticed that my child was having a pancrititis attack which at that point I had no clue what that was and the doctors were in shocked because this is very uncommon in children. Not even a few hours later my son was admitted and was placed in PICU in critical condition with the worst kind of Pancritits which is called acute chronic narcosis Pancritits which caused him a sudocyst on his pancreas and now more than half of the panreas is not working. At this point the doctors told me my son has one of the worst. Yes that fast my son was fighting for his life. After two weeks of fighting my strong child pulled through no matter what the doctors said and trust me it was the worst news a parent can receive. But he pulled through that one. Thinking that was the end while being in the pediatric unit he got another attack. He pulled through again thank god this time he was not placed in PICU. After a whole month in the hospital my son was finally released. Not even a few weeks later we found our selves in the ER with pain again. Yes he was getting another Pancritits attack. Like I have mentioned before extremely rare in children. It was decided to take his gall bladder out as this should of elevated pain and stop the pain. Unfortunately it didn't because we have been admitted since July over 15x's. Finally this week my son was sent to Beth Isreal in New York with hopeful feelings that maybe somebody can find a way to cure him or help him not get as many episodes because the more he gets the more it destroys the pancreas which is an organ that we need to live. The latest news is that many specialist GI doctors from around NY and NJ will have a conference concerning my son as this is the first case they have seen so severe on Monday as one specialist is also flying in from Japan. Now this is all a waiting game. But God will prevail and I still have my faith and all the prayers from all my friends and family. We will keep updating his progress everyday as we will be in Beth Isreal fighting again for his life. Please continue the prayers as well.
With this being said this has financially affected us in many ways and we sincerely need help.
