Lauren Day U23 World Championships

Hi! I am helping to raise funds for Lauren Day to travel to Plovdiv, Bulgaria to represent US Rowing at the 2023 U23 World Championship Race.

Lauren is rising 1/C(senior) on Navy Womens Crew. She was selected by US Rowing to attend the U23 Select Camp in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma where she would compete for a spot to represent Team USA at the world championship. After about a month of training, seat racing, and learning, Lauren earned a spot in the women's 8+ at the world championship. The race will take place July 19th-23rd.

All funds being raised will go to Lauren to help offset the cost of traveling to Bulgaria. Lauren shared that she has learned so much while at the U23 select camp. She has learned just how many people care about rowing. There is so much knowledge, study, and practice that goes into becoming a top-tier rower. She is thankful to be surrounded by coaches and athletes who have devoted hundreds of hours to this sport and are willing to help her continue to learn. One of the biggest lessons learned she came from her friends and family not at camp with her. She learned that she can feel support from people thousands of miles away just through a phone call or text.
