Moving Truck Rental

Hi Friends and Family! As I have announced, I am moving to Colorado Springs, CO! Moving to Utah was rough on my family and unfortunately, my mental health can not survive much longer without a change of environment. We are moving to pursue new jobs as I finish my bachelor's degree.

My partner and I have paid the costs of our security deposit, first and last months' rent, storage facilities, pet deposits, moving supplies, etc. Due to the continued increase in gas and moving truck rentals prices, costs have exceeded our budgeted amount. We are now just looking for help affording our moving truck as well as gas to get us and both our cars there.

To be as transparent as possible with costs, I have broken down the fees we have to pay, as well as the average cost of gas.

12' Moving truck - $580.25

Gas for moving truck- $465

Gas for the moving truck gets about 10 miles to the gallon and about 31 gallons in a tank. The gas average is about $5 a gallon. The trip is 550 miles total. We are thinking about $155 per fill for the truck and need to fill it 3 times.

As for both of our cars, it's about 2 tanks each to get us there, were needing about $300 to cover gas for both our cars.

I wanted to thank anyone willing to donate. Leaving Utah will allow me to finally be free of the trauma I have experienced while living in this state, and begin my life's journey elsewhere.
