Officer Matthew David Krupa Memorial

Officer Matthew David Krupa, 27 years old, tragically lost his life on February 4, 2021 while in route to serve at his new position as an NEISD Resource Officer.  Officer Krupa was a dedicated and passionate Law Enforcement Officer for 5 years in Pennsylvania and Texas. He served at numerous Police Departments in Pennsylvania.  After moving to Texas, he was a Deputy for the Gonzales County Sheriff's Office and was most recently an Officer for the NEISD Police Department.  He fiercely loved his family, blood and blue, and his most cherished blessing was his 10 month old baby girl, Mayleigh. 

Per Officer Krupa’s request to his fellow cadet and close friend, Officer Michael Maddox, while in the Police Academy, contributions will be withdrawn by Officer Maddox and placed in a protected 529 fund with Mayleigh as the beneficiary. This fund will be used to secure Mayleigh’s future education. Due to exceeding the goal twice, the remaining funds after Mayleigh’s education is fully funded will be used to support Mayleigh after she turns 18 as her Mother and Officer Maddox see fit to honor Officer Krupa’s wishes.
