Easing the Burden
Donazione protetta
Im John Moss, and for the past year or two I have been slowly but surely paying my beautiful mother back for all the things she did raising me as a single mom. As her health has declined, moving around the house has become a hardship that sometimes I have to help with, getting her drinks and food, helping her to the car for Dr. Appointments and so on. Shes been diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension, scleroderma, neuropathy, and a host of other afflictions. She has filed for disability and we are currently in the middle of trying to get it through. She has a lawyer thats working the case, but again the corona virus has slowed things down to a crawl.
During this pandemic finding a good job has been hard but i have managed to get a job delivering pizzas and just barely keep the bills paid. Now after having to take time off work twice due to corona virus, I missed out on alot of pay and it set us back. Catching up has proven incredibly difficult and near impossible. I am deeply ashamed to even be making this fundraiser but I dont know what else to do at this point. We fell behind on rent and our landlord is threatening to evict us if we cant get the money together. Business is business.
I work as much as I can and save every penny I get for bills but its just my delivery driver income and frankly its not enough. Between bills, my mothers medications, doctor copays, and the gas I put in my car, the money I earn is spent before I have it. I'm currently waiting on a job offer from another company that would almost double my income but due to corona virus their corporate office is moving slow with new hires.
If you could find it in your heart to help us, every dollar we get will go to helping get us caught up, or even put us ahead if possible. Im a man at the end of his rope and with nowhere else to turn.
