Team Poe Boy

Poe is the "pup in the cornfield" - a 4 month old Great Pyrenees/Lab mix puppy who was injured when a car hit him outside of my farm.  Thankfully, the person was nice enough to stop and ask for help.  Multiple fractures in his leg and a growing body have resulted in constant splint changes and x-rays.  Although this pup was never mine to begin with, he is most definitely a solid part of our family now!  His best option is to have surgery to plate and screw the fractures.  Unfortunately, I don't have the funds to pay for the extensive surgery that is needed.  Will he survive on 3 legs?  Yes, but as a large breed dog his life is going to be a bit challenging if he isn't able to receive the surgery that is needed.  I am asking for help with his medical costs particularly with the goal of making this surgery happen - and soon.  I thank you in advance and hope that you visit my blog (www.thecharmingfarmer.com) for more details and Poe updates.
