Update on Marilyn's Journey with Pancreatic Cancer - Continued Strength and Determination

Hello everyone,

I hope this message finds you well. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to each one of you who has generously contributed to Marilyn's journey and recovery. Your support means the world to her!

Marilyn's fight has been nothing short of a rollercoaster, filled with challenges and unexpected twists. Following the initial Whipple surgery, she faced a perilous journey with a bleed, clot, and organ failure, leading to emergency surgery and days on life support. It's been a tough road, but Marilyn's resilience shines through.

In the past four months of recovery, Marilyn has encountered setbacks with drains and recently experienced an abdominal blood clot. This complication required blood thinners and sadly, affected her eligibility for a study. Despite these hurdles, Marilyn remains determined and optimistic about regaining her independence and strength.

Currently, she continues her recovery, but is once again in the hospital with Influenza-A. She is still relying on assistance for care, and facing the debilitation that accompanies such a difficult journey.

While Marilyn has faced numerous obstacles, her spirit remains strong. She looks forward to the day when she can reclaim her life and resume her journey towards healing. Your support has been a source of strength for Marilyn, and we are truly grateful for your continued encouragement.
