Loving Support for the Family of Michael Brown

With heavy hearts, we acknowledge the sudden and unexpected loss of Michael Brown—a devoted husband to Jacqueline, a loving father to Mackinley and Jonah, and a cherished friend to so many.

Michael wasn’t just part of the community; he helped build community. As the founder of MB Events, he organized triathlons and national rugby meets, always bringing people together. Most recently, he started VIBE Volleyball, creating a space for youth in St. Albert to connect and grow. Whether at a big event or a simple backyard barbecue, his infectious spirit and larger-than-life presence always had us laughing!

In light of the many requests we've received to offer support during this difficult time, we've set up a GoFundMe for Jaqueline, Mackinley, and Jonah. This is an opportunity to contribute and show them that we're standing with them as they navigate these challenging times.

In honouring Michael’s memory, we carry forward the values he held dear—love, connection, and community. His reach was vast, and his impact was immeasurable.
