Let's Make This Better! - CHs

Apparently it seems one of our Councilmen ‪was unhappy enough with the passage by the County Council of an ordinance that prohibits companies owned by elected officials from bidding on County Contracts that he posted a very pointed message on his personal fb page in response to the Council's action.  

Unfortunately the message was that he has decided to withdraw his annual donation of $1000 by his business to Catoctin Athletics.

While certainly disappointing and potentially detrimental to their sports program, our community can rise above this and come together and hopefully raise enough money to replace the $1000 or exceed the donation this councilman has said he no longer will give to them.

I hope you'll join us in whatever contribution you feel you can make, and show our student athletes that we are all part of a larger team, that we are in it together,  and  that our community cares for them and is determined to Make It Better!

And remember...social media for the social good always works best when we share with our family and friends!
