RMSWC Outreach Expansion

We are a coalition of active Colorado based SW groups and activists made up entirely of current/former SWs including RMSWC's Denver street outreach team, Black Sex Workers of Colorado, the Colorado Entertainer Coalition, the Chrysalis House LCA, and a core member of the Lysistrata Mutual Care Collective and Fund. Our coalition building efforts have been ongoing for the past two years, but most of our organizers have been doing SW and sex positive community work for at least 5+ years. Most of our work locally has been funded by our own members up until this point, but the Covid pandemic has greatly increased both the needs of our community and the engagement from allies in mutual aid networks so we are now embarking on our first larger scale fundraising effort.

Our first fundraising goals include covering:
-$600/month for Denver's street outreach (this includes socks, water bottles, snacks , harm reduction supplies, safer smoking kits etc...)
-$200/wk for Denver's street outreach to supply emergency disbursements to outdoor workers with monetary needs
-$2,600 towards rent for our community space the Chrysalis House LCA
-$500 towards emergency disbursements for workers receiving Covid supplies from the Chrysalis House
-Cards/stickers with contact info to help us build up longer term relationships with our street based community
-Initial supplies to start doing outreach in Southern Colorado (we're going to be evaluating specific needs/numbers for Colorado Springs, Pueblo and Walsenburg over the summer)

If we can surpass this initial goal we'll be considering starting a relief fund that covers workers in CO, WY, and NM.
