Mum’s medical expenses

I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to you today with a heavy heart to seek your support and generosity for a cause that is profoundly personal and urgent. My beloved mother, Bushra Khalid, is currently facing severe health challenges, and we

are in desperate need of financial assistance to ensure her well-being and access to necessary medical treatments.

 My mother has been diagnosed with Recurrent Ischemic Stroke, Post Stroke Epilepsy, Hyperlipidemia, UTI with delirium, Vascular Dementia, Uncontrolled Diabetes which has drastically impacted her quality of life and requires continuous medical attention. I had a meeting with the Consultant in Fairfield Hospital, where mum is currently admitted, they told me that she had 3 strokes and with the medication she is still at high risk of having another stroke and her life expectancy is low. She is totally bed bound, due to dementia she is struggling to recognise us, due to the third stroke, her right side of face is affected as well as she cannot speak and swallow food.

These medical conditions have required extensive medical care, including Physiotherapy, Speech, and Language therapy, Daily carers.

 Despite our best efforts and the dedication of her medical team, the costs of her treatments have become overwhelming for our family. We are committed to doing everything possible to provide her with the care she needs, but we cannot do it alone.

 I would like to share with you all that my mum came to the UK to attend my Graduation Ceremony and the week she planned to go back home, she had stroke and in result she became totally bed bound, we were doing everything from October 2023 by ourselves but now it become desperately difficult for us to bare that situation. Because she doesn’t have any medical insurance, her medical bills are coming from NHS, the first invoice is £10,177 and the second invoice is £22,415.26. It is really difficult to pay these amount of money.

 We are launching this fundraising campaign with the goal of raising £100,000 to cover the costs of her medical expenses, including hospital bills, medication, specialist consultations, home care, etc. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in my mother's fight for health and well-being. Your donation will directly impact her ability to receive:

 • Vital medications and treatments that are crucial for managing her condition.

• Access to specialized medical care and consultations.

• Necessary equipment and support for her daily living and comfort.

• Home care services to ensure she receives the best possible care in a familiar environment.
