Anna's Educational Fund

Hello everyone, as you are aware, we have been advocating for our daughters' from the moment they were adopted. But Anna's story has been a little different with Special Education, more bullying in the School district she is in, I need to be home to care for her needs more that people realize, and we are now at the point where I have done all I can do on my own with her IEP, and fighting the school system, and I need more help. I feel I am fighting a losing battle, we have had to hire an advocate who is wonderful, but I still do not feel that is enough, and I have just gotten off the phone with an Educational Lawyer who is phenomenal.

 

Anna comes first,  our girls always have.  We never stepped into Adoption lightly or Parenting lightly. This is not an easy request for us, I did not like to have to set this up, but we need to get out of this School District with the help of an Educational Lawyer and getting Anna the Education she deserves out of the District, not into a possible worse situation or have her continue where she currently is regressing. She is enduring emotional Trauma, which is making her current trauma that she has had for many years, worse. Anna is getting behind on her Education and is just not the happy bubbly girl she was 2 years ago, and it is not just because of Covid and the issues it has had on other kids.

 

I know everyone is struggling at the moment, in one way or the other, and I truly appreciate you taking the time to read this. I have even had to step back from my business to focus on the girls needs, hence the need to ask for assistance. Something I will always do, as our kids always come first, no matter what age they are, and no matter what their needs are, physical, emotional, or educational.  We are there Parents, and this is an unconditional love.  Thank you, The Fryer Family.
