Bring Britt Home!

Hi my name is Bella Harrison, and I am the cousin-in-law of Brittney Wojcik-Harrison, an innocent Canadian citizen being wrongfully held in the Dominican Republic.
Britt is not just my family, she’s a close friend, and an accomplished local photographer with a bachelor degree from Alberta University of Art and Design.
Brittney is the type to give you the shirt off her back, make you laugh when you are sad and has always been full of life and love. She has zero criminal record and would never and could never be involved in something like this!
Early April Britt was returning from vacation in the Dominican Republic on a flight back to Canada with other passengers. The plane she was on was called in by the flight crew of Pivot airlines for having a suspicious bag in the aviation bay (this is an electrical area underneath the plane, an area no passenger would EVER have access to.) What the authorities found was $25 million dollars worth of cocaine.
Britt, the entire flight crew , and all other passengers were detained and thrown in jail where they remained for three weeks despite lack of any evidence and multiple illigal warrants. We only just heard news of this April 28.
The living conditions in the jail of the Dominican Republic are inhumane and extremely unsafe, known to be some of the worst in the world.
Britt is now in a safe location as of yesterday but they are trying to appeal her release despite no new evidence. The government won’t allow her to leave the country until they finish the investigation which could take upto a year or more.
We are raising money for any extra legal aid, food, expenses and for flights to try and bring her home!
We have contacted the news to put pressure on the Canadian Government to advocate for their citizens held against their will and not JUST the flight crew!
Foreign affairs has responded to me but won’t release any information other than acknowledging they are aware. They also stated they’ve provided the family consolatory support and yet we have yet to be contacted.
We love you so much Britt. We. Will. Get. You. Home.
Thank you for all of your love and support. If you can’t donate, please share!
