Hi....I am here today to tell you our story.  My husband Brian is one of he hardest working people anyone would ever meet.  He has worked hard all of his life, has always taken pride in his work and ALWAYS put taking care of his family his top priority.  He loves his family and friends with all his heart.   He would give you the shirt off his back.  He took pride that he went to the gym everyday and exercised.
Brian suffered a heart attack last week.  He was rushed into surgery and they put 3 stents in the arteries of his heart.  He pulled through pretty well and was in pretty good spirits until the Dr. told him he could not go back to work.  He needs to heal for 3 months and then will have to have open heart surgery because 50% of the main artery to his heart is blocked, along with 2 other arteries.  He needs a triple by-pass.
Brian immediately went to tears, not because of his health but the words out of his mouth were "how am I going to take care of my family"?  He is extremely down and worried about how we are going to make it.
Brian is a truck driver, driving tractor trailer.  He loves his work and never missed a day.   He wanted to go back immediately.  The DOT immediately revoked his CDL license when the heart attack occured. He has to wait 3 months after his open heart surgery before DOT will give him a physical and even consider re-instating his license.
Brian cannot collect short-term disability from work.  When we called  his benefits department at his job they told him that he does not have medical insurance at all. Now, realizing that we have no income, but also huge medical bills, we are just filled with worry.
We have a 10 year old daughter, and we also are raising our 11 year old grandson.  This has been especially hard on them.  They do not understand what is happening, and are very scared.  We do not want to have to move out of our home and have to change schools for the kids.  We want to try to keep things as normal as possible for our family.
A very dear family member encouraged me to open this account.  I was hesitant, but realized that we have no resorces and did not know where else to turn.    We are blessed beyond description with the amazing friends and family that we are surrounded by.  Whoever it was that said that you find out who your true friends are when things are hard was dead on.
Please find it in your hearts to help with whatever you can.  We need as many angels as we can get right now in this very trying time.  Thanks you in advance for your generosity, and please, please keep us in your prayers.
