Angel Family

Hi friends! I wanted to start a gofundme account to help this precious family out! Jake had Ms. Angel in Kindergarten and she was a huge blessing to him and so many others. As some of you may know, Belinda has fought for the last 10 years with different forms of cancer, but has recently found out that she has currently 15 tumors in her liver. Due to her health conditions, her family has decided that she stop teaching Kindergarten and cheerleading and stay home. She and Shannon and have three children together. They are in need of our support, friends! Please help if you can!

Last Wednesday (9/6/2023) I got a call from my doctor. After speaking, he told me that I have about 6 to 9 months. I want you all to know that I love each and everyone of you and thank you from the bottom of my heart for always being supportive during our times of tribulation.

I currently have about 15 tumors in my liver. I have seen doctors at Vanderbilt, Fred Hutch, Mayo, and MD Anderson. All are saying the same thing…there’s just nothing they can offer because of my Fanconi Anemia, prior bone marrow transplant, and four other times with cancer.

We’ve know that the liver cancer had returned about a year ago in November; they found 3 very tiny little spots. From there, everything has progressed relatively slowly up until the past 3 months or so. HCC is very aggressive during later months. So far, I’ve felt okay. I’ve continued to teach kindergarten and coach cheerleading.

Over the past month or so, I’ve noticed some physical changes. I’m getting tired easily, have low blood counts and my blood pressure is now considerably elevated due to an imbalance in liver pressure.

After receiving the news with a more definitive “time frame,” last week, Shannon and I have prayed and come to the conclusion that it’s going to be best for me to be at home. I’ll be able to rest and hopefully be a much better wife and mommy. When I continually push myself so hard, I’m completely worn out by the time I get home and I’m not able to enjoy the family God gave me; and I NEED that!

I’m writing to ask you all to continue to pray for an Earthly, modern day, God given MIRACLE ♥️ I’m also asking, if you find it in your heart, to help us. Although I have some long term disability, we aren’t going to be able to maintain everything the same without some extra assistance. I’m humbly letting you all know that the bills we’ll soon face (living, medical, final expenses…etc.) are going to be too much for Shannon alone.

Through my breast cancer, surgery and treatments, my internal cancer and surgery, and now the two bouts with the liver cancer, you all have continued to truly amaze me (us) with complete love and support.

Hopefully I’ve been able to spread Gods love and light to you in some way. I’ve always tried my best to stay positive during every situation and present myself in a way that would be pleasing to my Heavenly Father.

I ask that you’d continue to pray and be there for Shannon, the girls, and Corbin. This is all so sad. But I know, with all my heart that you all, will once again, rally around our precious little family like you have in the past.
